Is Jesus Christ Lucifer?

Isaiah 7:15

New International Version

He will be eating curds and honey when he knows enough to reject the wrong and choose the right,

New Living Translation

By the time this child is old enough to choose what is right and reject what is wrong, he will be eating yogurt and honey.

English Standard Version

He shall eat curds and honey when he knows how to refuse the evil and choose the good.

Berean Study Bible

By the time He knows enough to reject evil and choose good, He will be eating curds and honey.

King James Bible

Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

If he isn’t always omniscient, the prophesied individual isn’t God in the sense commonly believed. If he doesn’t choose the good until old enough to eat curds and honey, he isn’t omniscient and infallible in the womb. Most translations also don't see that he chooses the good, just that he knows enough to. That doesn’t discredit the prophecy, it just discredits the divine status of the individual prophesied.

Isaiah 7:14

New International Version

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.

New Living Translation

All right then, the Lord himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God is with us’).

English Standard Version

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Berean Study Bible

Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call Him Immanuel.

King James Bible

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

That sure sounds like Jesus. Jesus Christ is called “God with us,” what Immanuel translates to, and he was supposedly born of a virgin. Some form of artificial insemination could have transpired. However, note that the prophecy doesn’t state he will be “God with us,” just that people will call him that.

The Book of Isaiah also contains the prophecy of Lucifer. Since this prophecy comes from the same Old Testament Book, if there are substantial other clues, I consider it plausibly the same prophecy.

Connections Between The Two Prophecies:

-Lucifer’s name is the Morning Star, and that is Christ’s name (Revelation 22:16) also.

-Lucifer raises himself up to God’s own throne, which Christ has done if it is not argued others than Christ (and not Christ himself) claimed he was God on their own.

-There is much weeping over the fall of Lucifer, and there would be such weeping if anything so tragic happened to Jesus Christ. Not many people are in love with Lucifer for being a once mentioned fallen angel of the Old Testament.
